Calgary Blizzards Take On Portugal With FuteBALLER

The Calgary Blizzards touched down in Lisbon directly from Canada ready for a challenge!

They got that and much more. Over an action-packed week, the team trained, competed, and explored Portugal with FuteBALLER while experiencing soccer at one of the most passionate football destinations in the world.

The players stepped inside some of the country’s top youth academies. They watched how elite Portuguese prospects work every day and saw up close what it takes to reach the highest levels. The group also attended live professional matches where the energy in the stadium left a strong impression. Portuguese fans live every play with an intensity that is impossible to forget.

Training sessions throughout the week were led by experienced coaches from leading clubs in Lisbon. Standards were high and the tempo tested every player. The Blizzards responded with commitment and quality while learning new approaches to the game.
